ANC 4A invites you to a Special Meeting, on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at 7PM to address two issues. BZA Application 21283. Homeowners Trevor Keck and Sarah Riley, at 1330 Kalmia Road NW, are seeking a BZA Special Exception to replace the currently existing detached garage on their property with an ADU accessory building to accommodate an accessory apartment. This project is scheduled for a BZA hearing on May 7, 2025, and the homeowners are seeking ANC 4A's support for their application. The homeowners and or their agent will be in attendance to explain the project and answer neighbors' concerns and questions. Molly's Dog Care - Aaron DeVane, the owner and franchisee of District Dogs at the Parks at Walter Reed, would like to change the name of his dog daycare to Molly's Dog Care and disassociate with District Dogs. He has requested a letter of support from the ANC for his Great Streets Retail application, which is due on April 14, 2025. Mr. DeVane will give a short presentation and will take any questions from the community.
